Biography
Leonie Loretta Scholl, born 1989 in Lahnstein am Rhein, studied visual culture and communication in Magdeburg from 2009 to 2012, followed by media studies in Berlin (2012-2016). She gained practical experience through internships at advertising agencies and film productions, as well as as freelance journalist, IT consultant and media producer.
She made her directorial debut with the documentary film "Berlin 4 Lovers" (2019), about ten very different Berliners, who report on their experiences with the dating app Tinder. The film premiered at the achtung berlin festival in April 2019 and was released in cinemas the following October.
