Leni Deschner, born in 2006, participated in a casting for the youth film "Himbeeren mit Senf" ("Raspberries with Mustard") in 2020 and was cast to play the leading role of a 13-year-old who literally "takes off" because of her first crush. Even before the film's theatrical release in Germany in April 2023, she appeared on the big screen in 2022 in the lead role of the title character's big crush in "Alfons Zitterbacke - Endlich Klassenfahrt!" ("Alfons Jitterbit – Class Trip Chaos!") and also stood in front of the camera as part of the ensemble in a new screen adaption of Erich Kästner's youth novel "Das fliegende Klassenzimmer" (DE 2023).
