Biography
Eberhard Weißbarth was born 1948 in Berlin and works as an actor, scriptwriter, director and producer. After attending acting classes with Prof. Marlise Ludwig at the end of the 1960s, he became a scriptwriter and director and produced numerous prize-winning short films, TV documentaries and TV plays, including "The Massacre Munich – Fürstenfeldbruck 1972". In his book "Hildegard Knef – Between Yesterday and Today" he describes the shooting of his nostalgic homage of the same title in a humorous tone. He is also active as a speaker and lecturer for film workshops and panels.
