Biography
David Pinillos was born in Segovia, Spain in 1974. He started out as an editor for Spanish TV and film productions, and provided the cut for successful films like "Slam" (2003) and the horror thriller "La habitación del niño" (2006, TV). He was nominated for the 2010 Goya Award for his his work on the comedy "Gordos – Die Gewichtigen". After already directing the short "Dolly" in 2007, Pinillos made his debut as feature film director with the romantic comedy "Bon appétit" – starring Nora Tschirner and Herbert Knaup" – in 2010.
