Knight translated several plays and the novel "Vielen Dank für das Leben" by author Sibylle Berg into English. He also translated various screenplays for German film production companies.
As a journalist, Knight has contributed in both English and German to publications such as "The Guardian," "The Observer," "Deutsche Welle," "taz," "Freitag," and "Fluter."
