Biography
Angelo Bozzolini was born in Rome in 1973. After a number of years of on-set experience as an assistant director for various Italian and international productions, Bozzolini dedicated himself to working as an investigative documentary filmmaker, with films such as "In Viaggio Con Jonathan Nossiter" (2004), "Il Congresso degli Arguti" (2011), and "La storia in movimento" (2007). In the world of music he has directed "Anno Zero" (2001), "The Piano is the World" (2006), "Mendelssohn inedito" (2009), "Fryderyk Chopin" (2010) and "Franz Liszt - Il grande virtuoso" (2011).
In 2005 "De La Famille et d´un Amour immodére" about Robert Guediguian and Ken Loach was selected for the Toronto Film Festival. From 2008-2010 Bozzolini contributed to the Italian current affairs program "Anno Zero", coordinating the direction of the documen tary sections. Bozzolini developed "Invito a Cena", an investigative series about immigration for Babel on "Sky" Italia (2011-2012) and "Ballerine", a reality format on classical dancers of the teatro San Carlo Napoli for MTV Italia (2012-2013).
