Adelia Constance Ocleppo, born in Bulgaria, made her film debut in the short film "Family BG" (2017) with a leading role as the daughter of a separating couple. German director Katrin Gebbe cast her in 2018 in a leading role in the German-Bulgarian co-production "Pelikanblut" ("Pelican Blood"), as an adopted daughter, whose new and younger adopted sister is behaving increasingly eerie due to a trauma. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival in autumn 2019, the German theatrical release was in autumn 2020.
