Tasteless Life

25-year-old student Lila is trying to get her life back on track while searching daily for ways to rescue her mother from her violent marriage. But at every support centre she visits, she repeatedly encounters limitations and a lack of understanding.

Although she no longer lives at home and could finally get her life in order, her mother‘s situation won‘t leave her alone. Instead of building a future with her lover or keeping up with her studies at university, she keeps returning to her parents‘ house and secretly watches them.

When Lila‘s visits to the authorities cause the situation with her parents to escalate and her mother ends up in hospital, Lila sees only one option: she must take matters into her own hands. She gets hold of a gun and has nothing left to lose.
