Film synopsis: The first nature conservation film in the Federal Republic of Germany, produced on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior: First, the original beauty of the animal and plant world untouched by humans is depicted, then the destruction of this harmony by brutal interventions of technology. In the third section, the film depicts efforts to preserve the still existing nature.

"Natur in Gefahr!" was digitized by DFF – Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum as part of the film heritage funding program "Förderprogramm Filmerbe" (FFE) in 2019.

filmportal.de, the central internet platform for German cinema and a department of DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum, documents the progress and results of "Förderprogramm Filmerbe", which is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the German federal states and the German Federal Film Board. The first five minutes of feature-length films digitized with funding from the FFE are presented on filmportal.de to document the successful completion of the respective project.

Das Förderprogramm Filmerbe (FFE) von BKM, den Ländern und FFA stellt seit dem 1. Januar 2019 für den Zeitraum von zehn Jahren jährlich bis zu 10 Millionen Euro für die Digitalisierung von Kinofilmen zur Verfügung.
