Summary
"Rebecca Horn – Das Gewicht der Welt" explores the multi-layered and extensive oeuvre of the late artist Rebecca Horn, who expanded the concept of art in the 20th century and laid the foundation for subsequent generations of female artists with her work. Her interdisciplin¬ary work, consisting of performances, videos, films, installations, sculptures, poems and draw¬ings, is examined within the context of her time and its significance for the present day.
The artist portrait sees Müller reunited with producer Martina Haubrich and DoP Christine A. Maier after their collaboration together on "Elfriede Jelinek – Language Unleashed" which won the German and Austrian Film Awards for Best Documentary in 2023.
