Summary
The Scent of Broccoli
Niklas (68) wants to move because he can no longer stand the daily smell of broccoli from the balcony of his Iranian neighbour Shirin (65). As he prepares the move, he realises that grilling broccoli was actually their special kind of dating. While Shirin and Niklas‘ eyes tell of invisible feelings, the new tenant Reza (70) is desperate to move into Niklas‘ flat.
A production showing that life’s big dramas often unfold in the smallest of spaces – between two balconies.
