Summary
Although 10-year-old Abdullah has a European passport, he often thinks of Syria. In Syria, Abdullah says, people danced everywhere. Seven years ago, he fled to Germany with his family to escape the war. Today, when he hears music, he must dance. He dances “street dance” while doing his homework, in the kitchen and in the dance studio. Sometimes he hears stupid comments about boys who dance — but Abdullah is becoming more and more self-confident. Now he has even qualified for the world championship …
