Biography

Anthony Hickox Often called the »Stephen King of directing«, British-born Anthony Hickox moved to the USA in the late 1980"s where in 1987 he wrote and directed his first film, the horror-comedy "Waxwork", for which he won several international awards. The success of Waxwork led to a sequel, a comics spin-off and a CD-ROM game. In between the two Waxwork films, Hickox wrote and directed the cult comedy "Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat" (1991) and, in 1992, he directed the horror hit "Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth". His other work includes "Warlock: The Armageddon" (1993), "Payback", "Full Eclipse" and "Invasion Of Privacy" (1995). Hickox also appears as the knight Sir Gawain in "Prince Valiant".
