Viennese Jossi Jantschitsch, born in 2010, took part in an audition for the children's book film "Geschichten von Franz" ("Tales of Franz") in 2021 and was cast in the title role. Following the success of the film, which was released in German cinemas in 2022, he reprised the role in the film's sequel, "Neue Geschichten vom Franz" ("New Tales of Franz"), which was theatrically released in September 2023.
