Biography
Jan Bäss was born in 1972 in Clausthal-Zellerfeld and majored in Cultural Studies and American Studies at the University of Bremen and John Moores University in Liverpool/UK. He graduated in 2002 and worked for theater productions, TV and radio stations and in various fields of film production. In 2004 he founded his own production company Steakfilm and has been producing documentaries and narrative features as well as shorts, music videos and image films. He started playing Ultimate in 1990, became a member of the German Disc Golf Team in 2003 and won the German Disc Golf Championships in 2008. In 2009 he founded the film production company Palm Park Pictures together with Michael Osterhoff and Greg Marter. By directing "The Invisible String" both his love for film and Frisbee finally met.
