Biography

Christa Graf was born in 1947 in Munich. Until 1978 she worked as a laboratory technician in the biochemistry research department of the Max Planck Institute. Since 1994, she has been a freelance author and producer for various TV stations and has created more than 50 reportages and documentaries for renowned stations including ZDF, 3sat, BR, and ARTE. A selection of her films includes: Die Sheldrick Elefanten (2001), Der Maskenmann (2001), Modelkarrieren (2002), Verlust der Kindheit (2002), Hollywood in Babelsberg (2003), Der Frust mit der Lust (2003), Ruanda - Zurueck ins Leben (2004), and Memory Books (2008).
