Biography
Born in Bielefeld on 5.8.1967, she trained as an actor at the College of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart from 1988-1992. After graduating she started her career working as a freelance journalist. In 1994, she began working in New York as a production assistant on commercials, music videos and feature films, and in 1995 she joined the firm Springer & Jacoby as a junior copywriter. She began making short films in 1992. A screenwriter, she won the Max Ophüls Award in 2002 for her feature film debut, "Mein erstes Wunder".
