Biography

Anna Böger was born in Munich in 1977. After graduating from drama school at Vienna"s Max-Reinhardt-Seminar, she performed at Zurich"s Schauspielhaus and at Berliner Ensemble from 2001 to 2002 before she became a cast member of Munich"s Kammerspiele in 2002 where she stayed for six years. In her first year at Kammerspiele, she already won Akademie der Künste Berlin"s promotional award for performing arts. In 2004, Böger started her film and TV career in Ralf Westhoff"s feature film debut "Shoppen". Furthermore, she starred in smaller roles, for instance, in the TV movie "Angsthasen" and in Martina Elbert"s film "Morgen räum’ ich auf". Since 2008, Anna Böger is a cast member of Theater Freiburg. In 2009, she played her first leading role on the movie screen in Ali Samadi Ahadi"s film "Salami Aleikum".
