Alexandra Sell – Director
Born in Hamburg in 1968. 1988-96 studied Free Art at the Academy of Arts in Berlin. 1996-97 DAAD scholarship for Great Britain and post-graduate studies of Free Art at Goldsmiths College London. During art studies freelance work as photographer and participation in numerous exhibitions and festivals. 1998-2001 post-graduate studies at the Art Academy for Media in Cologne. Made her first documentary there, "Das Avon Projekt", a portrait of three British Avon consultants. "Remote Area" is her first full-length film.
