In Vienna, widowed social worker Luise Gottschalk dedicates all her life to struggling teens. One young girl who is especially dear to her is Elfie Breitner. When Elfie's friend Stefan is arrested for theft, Elfie is sent to a correctional facility. Yet Luise has not given up on her.
