Summary
Documentary on the famous urban guerilla group Tupamaros, which formed in Uruguay in 1963 and was crushed by the military junta in the early 1970s. One of the most prolific leaders of the group was Pepe Mujica, who survived torture and several years in prison and later became a member of parliament. Filmmakers Heidi Specogna and Rainer Hoffmann portray the humble, witty politician and his contemporaries during their exploration of the Tupamaros' history.
