Summary
Documentary about everyday life in the historic convent Habsthal. Founded in 1257, it is today home to four Benedictine nuns, one padre and thirty sheep. The filmmakers chronicle the humble, contemplative routine of prayers, meditations and services, accompanied by manual labor. Yet life in the convent isn't as isolated as it used to be, since more and more visitors come to Habstahl. During their stay, they are taken care of by the silent nuns.
