Summary
The documentary tells of the social and economic transformation of the titular community in the wake of the machine revolution. Farmers recount the impact that modern machinery has had on agriculture and also shed light on the financial consequences of being forced to to progress. The community's past, the war and the expulsion of Jewish citizens, which is forgotten in the fast pace of further development, are also addressed.
