Summary
Love hurts, as the 39-year-old Alexandra, who has just been released from a two-year prison sentence for assaulting her ex-husband, knows only too well. With her faith in human relationships destroyed, Alex survives by withdrawing emotionally from life. She tries to find her psychological balance in solitude. But when a man and his young son cross her path and plans, she is forced to take a stand. Alex dares to leave her self-imposed exile and discovers once again just how thin the ice can be and how fragile happiness is, no matter how small it is.
