Youth without Youth
Linguistics professor Dominic Matei wondrously survives a stroke of lightning und as a result regains his youth. With his physical rejuvenation and his superhuman abilities, he draws the attention of the Nazis who are planning several experiments with him. However, Matei manages to escape. On his flight, he meets Veronica, the perfect match of his fiancée Laura who has passed away. Veronica is also struck by lightning. From this moment on, she falls into a state of trance and starts an inner time travel during which she increasingly ages. While she faces her nearing death, Matei closes in on his goal to explore the origin of human language.
