Summary
Helge Schneider's first major screen role under the direction of experimental filmmaker Werner Nekes: Schneider plays luckless electrician Kürgen Potzkothen, who dreams of becoming a star crooner. He sets out to conquer the stages of the urban Ruhr area, yet his attempts at having a career are constantly complicated by the interference of his dominating mother.
