Black Ice
Erika Wallmann, boss of a building company, is found dead near to her holiday home. She had apparently slipped in the night on the steep, icy steps down to the lake. Everyone thinks her death is an accident - except for Jupp Scholten, a long-serving employee of the company. Scholten cannot accept Erika′s death.
He had already known her as a young girl and had revered her.Without her protection, he is now at the mercy of Kurt Wallmann, the new boss and the dead woman′s husband. Scholten enters a state of crisis; his dreary marriage with his wife Hilde becomes unbearable. An obsession begins to grow secretly in Scholten. He suspects Kurt Wallmann of having murdered his wife Erika and looks for proof. Completely isolated in the company, Scholten comes across the Polish char Anna. Together, they start making investigations. Scholten becomes increasingly set on his idea, and he and Anna become closer allies. They finally discover that Wallmann has evidently committed the perfect murder. In an attempt to prove this, Scholten decides to take a momentous step...
