Summary
Berlin-based film maker Hartmut Jahn has tracked down segments of the Berlin Wall scattered around the world. You can find them in the Vatican, on Ronald Reagan's Ranch, in a Japanese Zen garden or in Ibiza. That historic moment, the fall of the Wall lent a wealth of new meaning to what was previousley just ugly concrete. The large format panoramic photographs with the new owners provide insight in a monument that was once a means of separation, but has now become the link between different ideas of freedom. A digital camera journey through the photographic panoramas from Los Angeles to Tokyo.
