Summary
Portrait of public figure Hermes Phettberg – actor, columnist, talk show host, failed clergy assistant and gay S/M fetishist. Born Josef Fenz, he unrelentingly made his own life and his world-weariness the subject of his work. Although struck with severe illness, he displays an irrepressible will to live. A cinematic intervention shot in black and white and structured in twelve parts like the Stations of the Cross.
