Documentary film based on Peter Wohlleben's bestseller "Das geheime Leben der Bäume", which accompanies the forester and successful author as he uses readings, guided tours and other activities to create worldwide attention and understanding for the forest ecosystem and thus reach an ever-growing following. Based on the book, the film shows how trees are able to communicate with each other and how their health and preservation are essential for human survival.
