Thriller by Uli Edel with a cast of US stars: The film′s story is centered on attorney Frank Dulany who defends the mysterious Rebecca Carlson in a murder trial. During the course of the lengthy trial, Dulany gets involved in a passionate affair with his client. Indeed, he finally succeeds in getting Rebecca acquitted of the charge of having killed her rich lover. But then Dulany finds several hints emerge that he has become the victim of a thoroughly planned manipulation. He then tries to reveal the truth on his own account.
