Summary
Documentary by Joseph Vilsmaier, who takes the viewers on a journey to the most beautiful sites and landscapes of the Free State of Bavaria. With his camera, Vilsmaier visits picturesque towns, portrays people from all walks of life, and captures the majestic Bavarian forest, the country's idyllic lakes and the awe-inspiring scenery of the high mountains – all accompanied by the music of the band Haindling. The result is a very personal declaration of love to his native country.
