Biography

Nathalie Steinbart was born in 1966 in Duesseldorf. In 1984, she was one of the founding members of the cabaret group EXEKUTION 27/b and directed various children"s theater productions from 1984-1989. She then studied Acting at the Etage e.V. in Berlin from 1990-1993, followed by studies in Direction and Scriptwriting at the German Film & Television Academy (dffb) in Berlin from 1993-1999. Her films include: the shorts "Ein moderner Tod" and "Taschendiebe" (1994), "Neulich, im Antiquariat" (1995), "Der Grosswildjaeger" (1996), "Aussen/Nacht" (1997), and "Motown" (1998), and her graduation feature film "The Middle of Nowhere" ("Endstation: Tanke", 2001).
