Strange River

Summary

During a summer bike trip along the Danube, 16-year-old Dídac increasingly feels like an outsider in his own family. While his parents indulge in nostalgia and his brothers compete for his attention, Dídac is grieving an unfulfilled love and gradually withdraws into himself. Then, again and again, a mysterious boy appears in the most unexpected places along their journey. These encounters become the catalyst for Dídac’s inner transformation, forcing him to confront his desires and his fears. By the end of the summer, neither Dídac nor his family dynamic will be the same.
