Summary
Jessi and Johnny
Jessi, late 40s, and Johnny, early 50s, have both been single for some time and are well settled in their respective lives. They meet by chance in an anatomical exhibition, between heads and bodies, and their love story begins. The closeness and trust are great and unexpected. Their encounter is intense – beautiful and overwhelming at the same time. She lives in Berlin, has two children and her own business, he lives in seclusion in the Uckermark region and tries to write. They ask themselves how this can work with their relationship with each other and ultimately with themselves. They have their everyday lives and their freedom, moving between courage and caution, between the lure of the new and the demands of the long-time familiar. Two people in limbo, seekers, longing. They get to know each other and give each other time, but this also demands its space. The question is whether, with all that they are and all that is important to them, they can be happy together and become a couple.
