Reflection

Reflection

Deutschland 2010, Kurz-Dokumentarfilm

Synopsis

One of the most beautiful villages of Georgia, Ushguli is situated in the Upper Svaneti north-west of Tbilisi. Located 2,200 meters above sea-level, this Unesco World Heritage Site is a settlement with one of the highest altitudes in Europe. Reflection attempts to discover what happens to the inhabitants of this remote and magical village, far from the modern, digital world, when they take part in a film screening specially organized for them. Frame within a frame – the open-air film screening is a means of desire to study sincere human emotion.
