Maja Classen, born in Heidelberg on 28.12.1974. After studying American language and literature she moved to the USA where she worked as an assistant director to William Farley, and attended classes at the Film Arts Foundation and Bay Area Video Coalition in San Francisco. "Osdorf" is her graduation film from the directing course at the HFF in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
