Kim Schnitzer, born in 1986 in Berlin, was part of the children"s ensemble of Berlin"s Friedrichstadtpalast from 1997 to 2002. From 2003 on, she took a special actor"s training at Kristiane Kupfer"s before playing parts in three short films in 2004, among them the leading part in Maria-Anna Rimpfl"s "Wolfstraum". In 2005, Kim Schnitzer made her movie debut in Henner Winckler"s "Lucy". The film won the DEFA Award at the Schwerin Film Festival and was shown at the 56th International Film Festival in Berlin in 2006.
