They are inseparable, blood brothers through and through: the Hamburg buddies Henrik Wedekind, Phil Wagner and Jo Rimkeit. As youngsters, life tears them apart and eventually reunites them. Henrik has turned into a charming young man earning a precarious living with odd jobs. Rimkeit, on the other hand, is making millions. He owns a company,
makes illegal deals and rips people off. As Henrik is once more out of
work, Rimkeit offers him a job as telephone salesman. Then the two of
them meet their old buddy Phil who is working for the state attorney.
Now the buddies are reunited. Phil soon finds out that Rimkeit is up to
dirty tricks and that his greed for money and success is changing his
character. Very soon, the situation escalates ...
