Trouville Beach

Lukas is in his mid-twenties and looking for the real thing. He meets the woman of his dreams and then loses her telephone number. All he knows is that she′s called Nathalie, is always traveling around as a DJ, and bought a book in a shopping mall at the other end of the country.

Lukas follows the trail and ends up in an enormous shopping mall. He makes the acquaintance of a girl working at a cheese shop and her strange one-armed brother. They both live in the middle-class housing estate nearby. Lukas finds out that Nathalie also lives here, but is on the road at the moment. While Lukas waits for her, he gets to know the young perfume sales assistant Alice. She is impulsive and pragmatic while he is full of romantic longing: they begin an affair where both of them are constantly denying their feelings. Nathalie re-appears on the scene the moment when it has finally clicked between them...
