The Days Between

Lynn lives with her brother in Berlin. There she enjoys the advantages of family life, without feeling involved in it. She is living without any plan, waiting for whatever the days may bring. During her working hours in a café, she is drowsy. When she earns some money as a disco-dancer, she looks ecstatic. She is impulsive and irrational, sometimes sulky like a child, then overly responsive to the city′s atmosphere. As her character sways between moods, Lynn′s sex life also sways undecidedly between her boyfriend David, a disciplined professional swimmer who doesn′t share her sense of freedom, and Koji, a Japanese first-year student of German, who shares her sensuality, but not her language.
