Knife in the Head

Germany in the autumn of 1978. During a raid in a "conspiratorial" youth center, the biogeneticist Hoffmann is critically shot in the head with a gun. Through his injury Hoffmann looses his memory as well as a considerable part of his motor functions – he has to learn to walk and talk completely anew. For the police, Hoffmann is a criminal, whose bullet wound in the head was caused by a policeman acting in self-defense. A large part of the media also condemns him as a "terrorist". The "leftist scene" on the other hand, celebrates him as a martyr. In order to bring the truth to light, Hoffmann decides to undertake a search to find out his past.
