The TV two-part movie centers around charismatic businessman Dieter Glanz, who convinces his wealthy clients to invest huge sums into his projects. One of his eager investors is real estate agent Andy Schroth, who borrows money from friends and family in order to participate in the promising schemes. But somehow the profits Glanz keeps talking about at his lvish parties never materialize, and soon the law also shows interest for his peculiar business models.
