Frieder, who is in his early thirties and likes to party as the singer of a rock band, takes a lucrative job offer as a factory manager and moves from Germany to rural Poland. He integrates well into the new environment, winning the trust of the workers and falling in love with Gosia, a farmer′s daughter. Everything seems perfect and the two decide to marry – but then Frieder′s former bandmates unexpectedly arrive for his bachelor party. Cultures clash when the rockers meet the townspeople and the now bourgeois Frieder has to confront his much wilder past.
