The documentary follows actor Sinan Al Kuri, who is reunited with his Iraqi family. Born in 1979, Sinan was the fourth child of his parents and was adopted by his mother′s brother and his German wife. When the couple divorced, Sinan′s adoptive mother fled with him to Germany. It took 25 years before Sinan′s blood relatives discovered him on the website of an actors′ agency. The family contacts him, and after some hesitations, Sinan decides to visit his long-lost parents and brothers. In the process, he reconnects with his cultural heritage and finally gets to know his father.
