We Are the Night


Lena is 20 years old and lives in Berlin. Without a job, she barely gets by and resorts to small-time robbery. One night at an illegal club, she makes the acquaintance of mysterious owner Louise. Louise turns out to be several centuries old – since she is the leader of an all-girl vampire trio, which also includes elegant Charlotte and exuberant Nora. Louise falls in love with Lena and turns her into an immortal. At first, the newborn vampire enjoys the luxuries, parties and seemingly unlimited freedom. But soon the bloody consequences of this existence start to burden her conscience. When she eventually falls for police officer Tom Serner, who is investigating the vampire-related deaths, things completely spin out of control.
