"Zeiten ändern dich" is a biopic about the life and the career of the infamous rapper Bushido who plays himself in the film. In the film’s first scene, Bushido receives a postcard from his father while being on tour – which prompts the controversial rapper, best known for causing scandals, to take a look back on his life up to now. The film depicts his childhood and youth in poor circumstances in a Berlin neighbourhood, his father’s domestic violence against his beloved mother, his "professional" beginnings as a drug dealer and his first confrontations with the police and the judiciary system – until finally Bushido turns to music as his escape route, his self therapy, and his new outlook on life.
