The Murder Farm

The remote farm of the Danner family located in a fir forest becomes the scene of a gory family tragedy: The parents, their children and a maid are murdered with a pickaxe. In the village, no one wants to have witnessed anything about the massacre. At the same time, the bloody deed does not seem to surprise anyone because old Danner had an ill reputation throughout the area as a tyrant and scrooge. He was even said to been having an incestuous relationship with his oldest daughter. However, the murder case was never solved. Two years later: A young woman called Kathrin turns up in the village. Soon, she realizes that the village’s residents have something to hide. Behind the thick web of lies and silence they conceal an enormous guilt. The further Kathrin delves into the old murder case, the more she has to recognize that the case has much more to do with her than she likes to admit.
