Shrove Tuesday. A night when nothing is at it seems. A policewoman and a doctor must face their own demons. The two meet, in the midst of the carnival throng. They spend the night together – unaware that fate has brought them together once before, with fatal consequences. The next day dawns. It is Ash Wednesday.
