Kati and Jo live in the provincial region of Dachauer Land, in Southern Germany. Kati is eagerly awaiting a positive answer for an exchange program with a school in America. At the same time, she is torn between the thrill of anticipation for her journey and her love for Mike whom she won′t be seeing for a long time. Meanwhile, her friend Jo is not that bothered. All she wants is her personal freedom, a chilled beer, and – as a change – a guy who is really interested in what she wants.
